Late
in 1989, the Westward Group of Companies purchased the Melroe rubber
apron windrow combine pickup from the Melroe Company of North
Dakota. As a result of this acquisition, West Country Products Inc., a
North Dakota corporation, was founded in 1990.
West Country Products Inc. is located in Jamestown, North Dakota, and
distributes its products primarily in the northern plains states.
Since its establishment, West Country Products, Inc. has grown steadily
and now supplies a large selection of replacement agricultural
parts, supplying almost all the region’s farm equipment dealers, and
other farm parts retailers. Westward Products, Inc. also markets a
wide range of equipment and attachments. Westward Products Inc.
distributes many of the same products that Westward Parts does, as
well as products of other manufacturers.
West Country Products, Inc. growth has been accomplished by aggressively
